Goals from Coutinho, Neymar, and Marcelo secured the trip to Russia next year. They qualify with four games in hand in the competitive CONMEBOL region.

The five time world champions ranked 2nd in the world by FIFA will be looking to forget their defeat on home soil last time in 2014 to Germany in a soul wrenching 7-1 defeat.

Colombia, Uruguay, and Chile are currently positioned for automatic qualification in the region with Argentina facing a potential inter-confederation play-off match is positions remain the same. Both Colombia and Chile must still play Brazil again.
