World Cup 2022 Tickets

FIFA have announced how to buy World Cup 2022 tickets.

International visitors (i.e. non-Qatari's) can purchse tickets until the 8th February in Phase 1.

There are three types of tickets:
1) Individual Match Tickets
2) Team Specific Tickets
3) Four-Stadium Tickets

Within each ticket type, there are seat types which are category 1, 2, 3, or accessibility tickets. Prices start at QAR 80 (USD$11, GBP£8, EUR€10) with category 1 final tickets at QAR 5850. Full price list here.

Inter Confederation Play Offs Conclude

Australia completed a 3-1 win against Hondurus to qualify for the World Cup 2018 after a 0-0 draw in the first leg. A week later their coach Ange Postecoglou retired.

Peru won the second leg against New Zealand 2-0 and they too have qualified for Russia.

The draw for the group stage will be held on 1st December 2017 in the Kremlin.

UEFA World Cup 2018 Qualification Concludes

Four two legged play off matches resulted in Switzerland, Croatia, Denmark, and Sweden qualify for next years tournament in Russia.

Croatia dominated their home leg 4-1 against Greece and played out a boreish 0-0 in the second leg to secure qualification.

A Ricardo Rodriguez away goal in the first leg completed Switzerland's road to the World Cup beating Northern Ireland 1-0 on aggregate.

After a tight 0-0 draw in Copenhagen, Denmark and a Christian Eriksen hattrick comfortably saw off Republic of Ireland to take them to the finals.

AEK Athens midfielder Jakob Jahansson got the only goal over two legs for Sweden which saw them beat Italy, who fail to qualify for the first time since 1958.
